Florida Woman Threatens to Rob McDonald’s Over Dipping Sauce

A New Year's Day verbal altercation ended in a woman being arrested in Vero Beach, FL, all over not wanting to pay for dipping sauces.

Maguire Marie McLaughlin, was in the drive thru of a McDonald's, and asked for dipping sauce. She was then informed that the sauces cost 25 cents at this particular McDonald's.

She repeatedly said she would rob the restaurant if she didn't get the sauce, and told the staff she would "Get the sauce by whatever means necessary."

Authorities reported upon arrival, McLaughlin smelled of alcohol. When being arrested, McLaughlin fought the police about getting into the police car. Deputies reportedly wrestled her to the ground forcibly, and put a specialized restraint on her to put her in the car.

McLaughlin was charged with disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest without violence. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
