Florida Woman Celebrates 100th Birthday By Going Skydiving
We write a lot of Florida stories. People fist fighting gators, people on meth who are up to something absolutely ridiculous, naked people pooping on their neighbor's table, guys running around with flame throwers. It goes on and on and on, and there's always some wild ass out there.
A Sebastian, Florida woman turned 100 years old this week, and to celebrate, she decided to try something she hadn't before.
Raymonde Sullivan jumped out of a plane Monday morning at Sky Dive Sebastian.
In her lifetime, she worked as a World War II nurse, serving on the front lines.
“I had never done it, and I’ve done a lot of things in 100 years so I thought I must do it while I can," said Raymonde. "It’s scary, I would say it is."
When asked if she'd ever do it again, she said no.
After her successful skydive, she went to a birthday dinner at The Castle in Fort Pierce with her friends and family.
We all need to live like Raymonde, and make the most of every day we can.
