Florida Woman Calls 911 Twice For Beer

Jennifer Roberts of St. Petersburg, Florida called 911 late last week because she was having a medical emergency. Apparently the authorities disagreed with her.

The 58-year-old called the police on Friday and the sent paramedics to her home. When they arrived, she told them that she needed some beer. That call was at noon.

She dialed 911 again just before 4 P.M. for the same reason. These aren't the first calls she's made to 911 either. Roberts has made 28 false 911 calls this year.

She was charged with misusing the emergency system.
