Florida Woman Arrested For Calling 911 to Ask How To Get a Divorce

A woman in Florida was in handcuffs over the weekend after calling 911 multiple times.

Sylvia Shumaker, a 69 year old, called and texted 911 multiple times to ask questions such as "How to get a counselor or how to file for divorce."

Police responded to Sylvia's residence around 1:50 am, where they found her "Highly intoxicated" when questioned.

Sylvia was arrested and charged with Misuse of 911 System.
