Florida Man Wearing “Hover Skates” Robs Walmart

Winter Haven Police Department is looking for a thief who used futuristic technology to steal a cart full of merchandise.

The thief came through the front door riding Space Shoes hover skates, the skate version of hoverboards, filled a shopping cart, and zipped out as smooth as he scooted in.

According to police, he made off with $551.08 worth of merchandise. They say he stole paint, a trash can, a car battery, a Roku TV, a bouquet of flowers and a Motokicks Hoverboard.

The suspect got away in his late-90's Nissan Maxima with "two different sets of aftermarket chrome wheels," which for some reason feels expected by this guy.
