Travis Spitzer went out early Friday to find some lost discs at a local disc golf course, and ended up finding an unhappy course mascot.

Travis went to the Taylor Lake Disc Golf Course to try and do some wading to find some of the many lost discs on a water hole.

He was waist deep around 5am when an alligator attacked him, biting his face. He's expected to survive, but his injuries probably didn't feel too good.

To me, it sounds like this guy was trying to do the Florida equivalent to "creek walking", which is when people go out early in the morning to find lost discs to sell, even though most people write their phone numbers on them.

If that's the case, that's some karma straight from the course itself.
