A golfer in Florida was recorded retrieving his ball from a particularly difficult hazard at Coral Oaks Golf Course in Cape Coral on Sunday.

Kyle Downes was golfing with his brother when his ball landed on the tail of an alligator.

Downes shared video of his brother sneaking up on the alligator to grab the ball back. He quickly grabbed the ball, which startled the gator, causing it to run into the water.

Luckily, Kyle's brother got the ball before it ran.

The alligator is known as Charlie to golfers that play the course, and he can be seen hanging around the course most days.
