There was no reason to grill this suspect for details after authorities caught him stuffing a bunch of meat down his pants.

A Publix loss prevention officer in Vero Beach, Florida says that 51-year-old Johnny Mack Blackmon put four packages of meat into his shopping cart. He had grabbed a porterhouse steaks and T-bone steaks, about $55 worth.

Then he went to another aisle and started stuffing them down the front of his pants. For whatever reason he took the meat out and put it back in the shopping cart. A short while later, he went down a different aisle and again put the meat into his pants.

Blackmon left the store before the officer could catch up to him. Sheriff's deputies arrested him on a retail theft charge.
