Three days after an incident at a Starbucks that involved him pulling a gun over cream cheese, a Florida man was able to leave jail.

Early Saturday morning, 38-year-old Omar Wright had gone to a Starbucks in the Miami Gardens area, but when they didn't give him any cream cheese, he became upset.

“I hate b****** like you and you don’t know who you’re f****** with, I’m from Carol City," he allegedly said to one of the employees, who happened to be the daughter of Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt.

It was then that he was seen on surveillance footage waving a gun around inside of the store.

The question asked was whether or not he had paid for the cream cheese, which was what set him off.

“Mr. Wright’s demands for cream cheese, while armed with a firearm, caused a well-founded fear in the victim leading her to believe that if she didn’t give him the cream cheese, whether he pays for it or not, her life was being put at risk,” the arrest report says.

Wright, who lives in Miami Gardens, says he is licensed to carry the firearm, but he's now been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and has a $10,000 bond.
