Imagine ordering delivery, and not only is it late, but when you locate the driver through the app, you're looking at a car sitting on the side of the road that never moves again, and the doorbell rings.

A woman who placed an order through DoorDash had a surprise when she opened the door to a police officer, rather than the delivery driver she was expecting to see.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Florida shared photos of the delivery on Facebook.

“District I deputies went above and beyond after arresting a DoorDash driver who was was in the process of delivering food," they wrote in their post. "The driver had two outstanding warrants at the time of the arrest, BUT, their work didn’t stop there. HCSO deputies completed the delivery for the customer!”

One photo shows the police officer standing outside the door with a drink and bag of food. The next, him knocking, and the final photo of him with the person who ordered, both smiling.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office shared the photo compilation to their TikTok account, which went viral quickly.

If you're working DoorDash, make sure you're up to date on your warrants. You're driving a lot, so chances are at some point in your "work day," your plates are bound to be run by police.
