Firefighters Catch Children As Dad Drops Them From Burning Building

A father tossed his child into the arms of a fireman as he evacuated his family from a burning apartment building. The father was on a ladder on the third floor.

It happened recently in Dekalb County, Georgia, and several other children were rescued the same way. One firefighter said, "We were catching babies like a football – literally."
