Speed Cameras
The photo speed enforcement van is back out on the roads in Davenport. Luckily enough, we know where they'll be this week:
- Monday: 2600 E River Drive -- 3100 Harrison St
- Tuesday: 1900 Brady St -- 5800 Eastern Ave
- Wednesday: 6700 Division St -- 4300 Eastern Ave -- 3100 Harrison St
- Thursday: 2600 E River Drive -- 1000 W 53rd St -- 3100 Harrison St
- Friday: 5500 Pine St --700 W Central Park Ave
Tesla Robotaxi
In Austin, they're rolling out new driverless taxis and it's already had some incidents.
We'll be there in August, and we're trying to decide who's going to ride in these things. We did decide that Dwyer & Michaels can't ride in the same one because someone will have to come on the air and say goodbye - and Megan & Hairball can't ride in the same one because someone has to write the article when this thing goes off the road. Goose can't ride at all, because someone will have to run "Worst of Dwyer & Michaels."
Rally For Reid Football & Spirit Camp
The annual Rally For Reid Football & Spirit Camp is coming up, and there's still a couple spots left for you to sign up your kid or grandkid.
Learn football from the best with former University of Iowa-turned-NFL football players - led by Jake Gervase.
Inside The B-2 Bombers Used In Iran Bombing
Here's an interesting walkthrough of the planes that were used to bomb nuclear sites in Iran this week. Nicknamed by the internet as "Freedom Doritos," these triangle-shaped planes had to be outfitted for a 37-hour round-trip mission, taking off from Missouri, refuelling multiple times in the air, dropping their payload and flying home non-stop.
The planes had a cot, a toilet, and a microwave. Really, sounds like a pretty easy gig as the co-pilot - just kick your feet up and eat some Pizza Rolls before dumping them out and taking a nap.
Pizza Hut Documentary
There's a new documentary that looks into all the types of businesses that are operating out of old Pizza Huts - and you can tell because all of those buildings scream, "I used to be a Pizza Hut."
Torn Canvas
A guy taking a picture with a 300 year old painting accidentally put his elbow through the thing.
There was also that guy who broke the Van Gogh chair by... sitting on it.
