Keep Your Mouth Closed on Roller Coasters to Avoid Swallowing Cicadas
There's an amusement park called Kings Island in southwestern Ohio, and they've been dealing with masses of cicadas, which have made their way to the surface for the next few weeks.
The cicadas are EVERYWHERE outside, and the swarms are so dense that people are being warned to keep their mouths SEALED SHUT while riding on the coasters at Kings Island . . . or you might get a mouthful.
People are posting videos of the cicadas at the park on TikTok, and others are proudly sharing RIDE PHOTOS of people in their group, with their mouths firmly closed, as instructed.
Hot Dog Eating Contest
In a Netflix event titled "Unfinished Beef," Joey Chestnut ate 83 hot dogs and buns, setting a new world record for the most hot dogs eaten in 10 minutes. This event was a competition between Chestnut and his longtime rival Takeru Kobayashi. Chestnut's previous record was 76 hot dogs, which he set at the 2021 Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest.
Heinz Is Trying to Normalize Ketchup on Eggs
Heinz is trying to normalize it with a new ad campaign that claims ketchup on eggs... or even BACON... is perfectly acceptable.
They partnered with 100 Waffle Houses around the country and changed the labels on their bottles to say "Breakfast Ketchup." It's the same product, just the label is different.
Around 50 diners across the U.S. will also have limited-edition bottles shaped like maple syrup bottles.
Heinz claims one in four people use ketchup at breakfast. Quote, "Ketchup at breakfast should be the norm, not the exception."
