Drunk Florida Woman Claims Cops Were Called By Someone ‘Jealous That Her Body Looked Good’
A Florida woman arrested on a disorderly conduct charges claims that the reason she had the police called on her was that the hotel manager saw her by the pool and was “jealous that her body looked good."
Ocala Police say the manager at Country Inn & Suites spotted 42-year-old Melody Carr in her two-piece bathing suit at the hotel pool, but didn't recall her checking into the hotel at all, so she asked for her room number.
Police said Carr became belligerent and stormed off.
The manager called officers to have Carr trespassed from the hotel property, but when they arrived, Carr was walking with a brown dog at La Quinta Inn & Suites.
Carr became "very aggressive" with officers as well, and told them to leave her alone. She claimed that the manager of the hotel called the cops on her because she was "jealous her body looked good."
She claimed her boyfriend rented a room at Country Inn & Suites but they got into an argument so she left. She said she was only still there because her car wasn't working.
Carr was instructed to move her car off of hotel property or it would be towed.
Then, officers watched as Carr hopped a fence and climbed into her white convertible Mustang and did a burnout as she moved into the parking spot that was directly in front of the one she was in. That parking spot was technically on the property of a gas station next door.
She went too fast, and hit the parking block.
Carr went into a gas station to talk to the manager of the gas station about keeping her car parked there, but they said she wasn't allowed to.
One officer confronted Carr as she got back into her Mustang, and noticed her breath smelled strongly of alcohol.
Carr, of Dunnellon, Florida, was arrested on a disorderly intoxication charge.
