Don’t Panic: Iowa DOT’s Trucks Are Not Spraying Roads For Ice

If you see any trucks from the Iowa Department of Transportation out and about this week, don't panic! They're not spraying for winter driving conditions just yet.

Nope, they're just calibrating their sprayers and what you're seeing is just water. Although they put down brine on bridges last week, that was just a precaution.

The DOT will be keeping an eye on conditions, expect them to be ahead of any frost or icy conditions.
