Davenport Educator Reads Harry Potter To Students Every Night

Every night, Michele Hemming goes live on Facebook from Madison Elementary's Facebook page to read to her students.

The book choice is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. She reads a chapter each night, some taking up to half an hour.

It's nice to note that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is allowing educators to read to students by relaxing copyright restrictions during this pandemic.

Even if you don't have a kid at home anymore, it doesn't hurt to be read to every once in a while.
