Cubs Go All Out For Local Boy
Jeg Weets is a little boy from Morrison, Il with a hard road ahead of him. He's got a rare disease that's called NPC. It's known as Childhood Alzheimers and without treatment and a cure, the average life expectancy is 13 years old.
So, the wonderful Weets family has a bucket list they've put together. Experiences they can do as a family and memories they can hold onto as the fight with NPC gets harder.
They took Jeggie to the Cubs game this weekend for an experience of a lifetime. Check out the post below.
In other news, CNN filmed a show with Jeg and some other NPC families along with Jeg's doctor Dr. Elizabeth Berry-Kravis. It is being aired on August 19th on HLN called Something is Killing Me.
