The owner of Crossroads Fireworks announced that their stores will open June 1st as originally planned.

Matt Reisetter said his stores are large enough for people to shop and remain socially distant. He thinks this year will be a big sales year, being so many towns are cancelling their firework displays.

Matt says fireworks are a great social distancing activity, which makes sense to me. You have plenty of room to sit in your backyard with less than 10 people for a cookout, and then end the night with fireworks you have to run away from anyway.

The company is currently setting up their website to perform online orders.

Crossroads Fireworks has locations in Little Amana, Waterloo, and the Quad Cities.

One location is at 875 Middle Road in Bettendorf, across from Schnucks.
