Some people dress up for Halloween—others for a life of crime. A 46-year-old man from Mississippi named Todd Bond was arrested after police say he went on a porch-pilfering spree across Mississippi and Alabama. And here’s the twist: he did it all while dressed as a woman.
Caught on Camera and in Full Costume
Security footage caught Bond red-handed—and red-lipped, apparently—making multiple trips from a porch to his car, snatching every single package in sight. The video shows him wearing long bleached hair, a headband, makeup, and even a skirt. Forget “stealing the show,” he was stealing everything else too.
A Heist Fit for a Holiday Movie
One homeowner said their porch looked like Santa’s workshop, with at least a dozen packages waiting to be opened. Bond allegedly made repeated trips to haul them all away, like a determined (and poorly disguised) Grinch.
Trick or Theft?
The big haul happened just before Halloween, so investigators weren’t sure if the outfit was part of a costume, a personal fashion choice, or a disguise for his pirating ways. Either way, the look didn’t save him. Bond was later arrested and charged with first-degree theft of property.
