Based in Lenexa, Kansas, Datamax is a company that grew tired of hearing complaints about office copiers, so they decided to do something about it.

The company held a "Worst Copier in Kansas City" contest to find a copier that they could destroy in a spectacular and colorful fashion. Nonprofit Ad Hoc Group Against Crime was found to have the worst copier, so Datamax dropped in from 110 feet up in the air. The group will get a two-year free use of a new $10,000 Canon copier.

The event isn't just to destroy an awful copier, they also raised money for charity. For a $30 donation, people could bring other objects to drop from the crane to benefit Biggsteps, a cancer awareness organization.
