It's an exciting Saturday in Iowa City this weekend, with ESPN's College GameDay setting up to broadcast from Kinnick Stadium for the Iowa vs Ohio State matchup.

It's the first time College GameDay has been in Iowa City in 20 years - the last time was when a #1 ranked Ohio State took on the #13 Hawkeyes, on September 30, 2006.

Every broadcast of the show features a celebrity guest picker, who typically has ties to the schools or the area, to make a decision on who they think will win the game.

The question on our minds is: who will be appearing in Iowa City this weekend?

Potential Iowa Celebrity Guess Pickers

We're looking for someone who has recognition to a national audience, with an Iowa or Hawkeye connection. They've got to be someone people would be excited to see on TV as well, so who could they get?

There are some that come right to mind, but there are some you may not have thought of that could be a surprise guest.

Depending on how the Fever perform this week in their playoff series against the Las Vegas Aces, Caitlin Clark could potentially be available for an appearance.

New Girl, Let's Be Cops, and the Spider-verse films make up just a percentage of his resume, but the actor is recognizable from all sorts of TV and film. He attended Iowa, where he wrote a play that got him admission to NYU's School of the Arts.

Big E, a former WWE wrestler and now commentator, not only graduated from Iowa, he played football his sophomore year for the school.

Frodo Baggins himself could turn up in Iowa City. He was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, where his family owned a delicatessen, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

If Frodo isn't available, maybe Superman is. Brandon Routh is from Des Moines, attended Norwalk High School, and attended Iowa for a year before moving to Los Angeles to start his career.

Speaking of super heroes, Aquaman went to high school with Brandon Rotuh at Norwalk. His mom still lives in the state, and he will occasionally be spotted shopping at a Fareway, or out to eat. His acting credits include a few super hero movies, A Minecraft Movie, Game of Thrones, and Baywatch.

It's safe to say that if any of these people show up on College Game Day, it's going to be a great day to be a Hawkeye.
