Keep your eyes on the skies in the coming weeks, an out-of-control space station is on a crash course for Earth and the Midwest is in a prime landing spot.

China's Tiangong-1 will be unceremoniously landing on our planet around April 3rd. Luckily the Quad City Area is on the outskirts of it's projected crash zone.

The station is expected to fall north of latitude 43° north and 43° south. The map below shows a rough estimate as to where the 43rd parallel cuts across the U.S. The Quad Cities is a bit south, but that doesn't mean the falling station or debris could still land too close for comfort.
