
Children Narrowly Escape as NC Storm Breaks into Gymnasium
Monday, January 13th was a freaky afternoon for those living in the Carolinas as strong storms producing straight line winds and even a tornado moved through the area. Damage included schools, homes, and vehicles being stacked on top of each other.
Surveillance footage released shows the moment the straight line winds cause a roof collapse in the gymnasium of Union Intermediate School in Clinton, NC.
Not far away from there, at Loris High School, an EF-1 Tornado touched down in the parking lot, causing several overturned vehicles.
