Iowa Arena Football Game Ends After Players and Coaches Brawl

A fight broke out during the Cedar Rapids Titans arena football game, and it got so out of hand they had to end the game early.

The fight wasn't in the stands, but on the field, and on the bench.

Video shows a coaching staff member sneak through the pipe and drape separating the benches, grabbing and punching a Wyoming staff member.

Shortly after, a slurry of players from both teams can be seen jumping over the dashers, and getting into an all-out brawl.

Once the dust settled, the refs reportedly walked off the field, and the game did not continue. The game's outcome was the score at the time the game ended, which as of the incident time with 10:51 remaining in the 3rd quarter, was Cedar Rapids 12, Wyoming 14.

From the incident, there have been multiple suspensions doled out by the league, American Indoor Football (AIF).

Assistant Coach Suspension:

A Cedar Rapids Assistant Coach has been suspended for the remainder of the 2026 season.

As a condition of reinstatement, the coach must formally reapply for eligibility with the league for the 2027 season, at which time reinstatement will be reviewed.

Player Suspensions:

Seven (7) players have been suspended for two (2) games each

One (1) player has been suspended for one (1) game

Wyoming Cavalry Organization

Player Suspension:

One (1) player has been suspended for one (1) game

Staff Discipline & Organizational Fine:

One (1) staff member has been fined for conduct violations

The Wyoming Cavalry organization has been fined for violations related to league operations and game day conduct policies.

The next time the Cedar Rapids Titans are in action is this weekend against the same team, only this time on Wyoming's turf.
