Buffalo Police Chief T.J. Behning Returns To Service
In September of 2017, officers apprehended Logan Shoemaker after a high-speed chase injured Buffalo Police Chief T.J. Behning after Shoemaker struck his squad car with a stolen garbage truck.
Two years and 11 months later, Chief Behning is back in service with the Buffalo Police. His journey to this point hasn't been easy.
According to a Facebook post from his wife, the last (nearly) three years brought T.J. through 24 surgeries, and hundreds of therapy appointments.
Welcome back, Chief.
