A Florida Man was pulled over for speeding, and of all the excuses he could've used, like the classic "I have to poop," or "I was keeping up with traffic," he chose to blame a man on the other side of the globe, and two other completely different excuses.

The unidentified driver was pulled over by a Flagler Country deputy in Palm Coast last week for running a stop sign and driving 50mph in a 30mph zone, the deputy said in some footage released by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the footage, the man gave the deputy multiple excuses as to why he was spending, starting with that he'd just started driving the car, and wasn't sure how to get it out of "sport mode."

He then said he saw another car coming, and was trying to "get out before them."

"Tell you the truth, I just found out that Putin is saying he's going to launch nuclear thermal war against the world," the driver told the officer.

"I was trying to get back to my house to find out what's going on."

The man was cited and fined for his speeding, and the running of the light.

Palm Coast is about 60 miles south of Jacksonville.
