Behind the Music Gets Rebooted With Horrible Music

Behind the Music was must see tv back in the early 2000's. You got to watch and see how your favorite rock stars grew up, found their bandmates, got famous, got messed up on drugs (probably), hit rock bottom, and rose to the top again. It was put together so well.

It's the drama and the trauma that stays with me. We watched Ozzy talk about Randy Rhoads hitting his bus in an airplane and dying. You go to see the guys in Metallica and their sound guy talk about the bus crash that killed Cliff Burton. And I still remember watching the Pantera Behind the Music with my buddy who broke down in tears when they talked about the Dimebag tragedy.

I always said, it was so well done that it didn't matter if you actually cared about the performer being documented or not. Well, it seems they have taken that as a challenge and offered up some truly uninteresting artists. Well, to me anyway.

You can watch these Behind the Music episodes and more on Paramount+. They're apparently bringing back Beavis & Butthead, so if the Behind the Music franchise leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth then maybe the bad boys from the 90's will tempt you.

If not that...The Real World season 1 reunion is available too! Not gonna lie...I kinda want to watch it to see Julie.
