It sucks when at the end of your heist, you end up getting busted, doesn't it?

A guy in Altoona, Pennsylvania was at one of those manual do-it-yourself car washes this month when he heard his truck startup.

Noticing someone was inside his Nissan Hardbody, the victim jumped into action, pulling 25-year-old Jason Almeida from the truck through the passenger door.

From there, police haven't released too many details, other than that Almeida was "restrained and forced to call 911 on himself," to report his crime, according to WTAJ.

After an interview with the victim, police determined that Almeida allegedly took the spare key out of the gas cap.

According to court documents, Almeida was charged with felony charges of theft and receiving stolen property.

He's set for a preliminary hearing for March 9th. His bail has been set at $15,000.
