Annual Lighting on the Commons Takes Place This Saturday

Downtown Moline is set to kick off the holiday season in the Quad Cities this weekend with the annual Lighting on the Commons.

The festivities start on Saturday, November 18th at 3:30PM with horse-drawn wagon rides, children's activities, refreshments, live music and entertainment. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will also be in town.

Free cookies, cider and hot cocoa will be available up until the official lighting ceremony starts at 6PM with fireworks on the John Deere Commons.

Stick around for the Mallards game at 7PM where kids tickets are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
