Amazon Driver Takes Wrong Turn Onto Golf Course, Wedges Truck In Tunnel
I thought we learned that sometimes the GPS will be wrong back when Apple Maps launched and everyone was getting lost in the desert. The GPS is there to guide, not force you to go anywhere. It takes a certain degree of user decision.
Bill Offer, outside services supervisor at Boulder Pointe Golf Club in Oxford, Michigan, told MLive that he wasn't happy with an Amazon driver who wedged a delivery van in a tunnel made for golf carts, because it wasn't able to be hidden from a wedding going on nearby.
Eventually, he couldn't help but laugh.
“He said his GPS led him there. It’s too funny. It really is,” Offer said.
Offer said the driver wasn't injured, “but he had no place to go. He was between a rock and a hard place.”
