If you’ve ever wanted to wander around Niabi Zoo with a drink in your hand and no kids running around, this is your night.

Pints for Preservation at Niabi Zoo

Pints for Preservation returns Friday, September 18, from 6–10 p.m., and the adults-only event is celebrating its 15th anniversary. It’s a perfect way to kick off the fall season in the Quad Cities, especially if you love local beer, animals and a night out that’s a little different.

What Does A Ticket Get Me?

Your ticket gets you admission to the zoo after hours, plus beer samples at more than a dozen tasting stations featuring local and regional breweries. You’ll also get a souvenir tasting glass to take home. Several food trucks will be on-site, so you can grab something to eat while you make your way around the zoo.

And there’s a bigger reason to raise a glass: every ticket helps support future conservation and improvement projects at Niabi Zoo, helping fund projects that benefit the animals and the people who visit them.

What You Need to Know

Pints for Preservation is strictly a 21+ event, so children and infants are not permitted. Everyone will need to show a valid photo ID at the gate.

Tickets are $45 for Niabi Zoo members and $55 for non-members. Six-packs of tickets are also available, offering a $30 savings — perfect if you want to make it a night out with friends.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Sales end at midnight September 17 or when the event sells out, whichever comes first. And if past years are any indication, you probably don’t want to wait until the last minute.

Gates open for the event at 6 p.m., with last entry at 8:30 p.m. Tasting stations will continue pouring until 9:45 p.m. The event happens rain or shine, and tickets are date-specific and nonrefundable.

So grab your friends, pick a designated driver, and get ready to sip, stroll, and celebrate 15 years of Pints for Preservation at Niabi Zoo. It’s a fun fall night out that also gives back to a Quad Cities favorite.

Cheers to 15 years! Get Your Tickets Here.
