On April 21, John Mellencamp will release his 23rd album, Sad Clowns & Hillbillies. He announced the news today along with a five-week tour of the U.S.

Last month, Mellencamp released a song called “Easy Target,” which could be included on Sad Clowns & Hillbillies.
Styx, REO Speedwagon and ex-Eagles guitarist Don Felder will begin a summer tour dubbed “United We Rock” in June, with U.S. dates through August. Tickets go on sale via Live Nation beginning Feb. 24.

Mick Jagger‘s personal recounting of his life at the Rolling Stones‘ peak was reportedly written years ago – but the band’s management team has apparently blocked any efforts at publication. This would have been a follow up to Keith Richards book, which doesn't shine a great light on Jagger.
Bob Dylan will release more music! The upcoming Triplicate LP,includes mostly songs originally recorded by Frank Sinatra in the ’30s through the ’50s.
