Here's what's happening today in the world of rock!

We know Ringo, we know Pete Best.  But have you heard of Jimmie Nicol?  Roy Orbison‘s son secured the movie rights to The Beatle Who Vanished a book chronicling the drummer's 13 day gig as replacement for Ringo. 

The AXS series The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands returns next month with appearances from some uncanny acts — and full-album performances of classic albums like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Led Zeppelin‘s IV.

Back in 1971, Paul McCartney recorded an instrumental version of his album Ram. He did it under the name Percy “Thrills” Thrillington, and simply titled it Thrillington.
