70-Year-Old Woman Hit The Lottery Twice Claiming Two Prizes In One Day

The odds of winning the lottery? 1 in 300 million. The odds of winning the lottery twice in one week? Well, it was inevitable for this woman!

A 70-year-old woman from Neward won the lottery TWICE in one week, claiming two six-figure rewards totaling $400,000.

The woman who remains anonymous purchased two $100K Ultimate Cash Instant Game tickets from Speedy Gas near Newark.

Luckily for her, one of those tickets was a winner! She drove to Lottery Headquarters in Dover with a friend to claim her prize. While she was there, she picked up three SERIOUS MONEY tickets from N. Dover Tiger Mart to celebrate the occasion.

Luck was following this woman around because one of those tickets was a $300,000 top-prize winner.

“My best friend was the first person I told about winning the $100,000 top prize, and she came with me to claim it,” the woman said in a Delaware Lottery statement. “When I scratched the $300,000 winning SERIOUS MONEY ticket later in the day, we just sat there in disbelief. It was absolute insanity.”

Once again the woman and her friend returned to Lottery Headquarters to claim the prize. The woman totaled $400,000 for the day.

She said she plans to put most of the money into her retirement fund.
