McCann's Local Meats has created the thing this country probably has needed the most for a long, long time. Butchered meats accessible 24 hours a day via a vending machine.

The "24-Hour Meat Machine" as its been called, was put in to help with no-contact sales in the midst of regulations placed by state authorities. The machine sits in a separate vestibule from the rest of the shop.

Kevin McCann, the owner, explains he had healthcare workers in mind when putting the machine together.

“A lot have crazy schedules, and not much time to do their grocery shopping. I’d like to give them the option to be able to come here, pick up a steak and a couple of different sides... to be able to sort of have a complete, healthy meal without having to resort to fast food.”

McCann explains that he loaded the machine up for a test run on Friday, with hopes to debut it Monday, but word moved quickly and the machine is now selling out 4 times a day.
