I've long talked about people who have live unnaturally long lives. I distinctly remember one person saying that the secret to their long life was having a shot of whisky everyday, and another man saying that Coors Light was his secret.

There's a lady named Louise Signore who turned 107 yesterday. She was born in 1912, which means that President Taft was in office and Woodrow Wilson won the November election. Two more states (Arizona and New Mexico) joined the Union that year. That was the year that the Titanic hit an iceberg in the Atlantic. In Boston, Fenway Park opened.

“I think the secret of 107: I never got married,” Louise Signore told reporters at the gathering of more than 100 people in the Bronx. “I think that’s the secret. My sister says ‘I wish I never got married,’” WCBS reported.
