SpaceX successfully launched its "Falcon Heavy" rocket yesterday, then safely landed both reusable boosters simultaneously.

The whole thing was awesome to watch, especially the boosters landing back on Earth. Gone are the days of scooping the rocket pieces out of the ocean.

The rocket launched a Tesla (both companies are owned by Elon Musk) into space while it played a loop of "Life on Mars" by David Bowie over its speaker system. If everything goes according to plan, the car will drift into an orbit around Mars.
