Rock Island Shooting Suspect Captured in Ohio

The teenager wanted in connection with murder of another teen in Rock Island was arrested last night (Thursday) in Ohio.

Rock Island Chief Jeff VenHuizen says that Kire G. Carr, "was arrested without incident in Columbus, Ohio with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service."

The 17-year-old from Rock Island is charged with the first-degree murder of 15-year-old Jescie J. Armstrong, also of Rock Island.
