Vispy Jimmy Kharadi, a martial artist from India, just laid claim to a world record that I'm not going to attempt to break any time soon. Partnered with Vispi Baji Kasad and a 30-inch katana, he chopped a record amount of melons on his stomach.

In one minute they were able to cut 49 watermelons, just barely beating the previous record of 48. Miraculously he was completely unharmed.

"The danger is always there in all such stunts, especially when there's a Japanese katana in the picture which can cut skin very easily, but because of the practice and confidence of Vispi Kasad, the pain can be offset," Kharadi said.
