Hockey fights are not uncommon, in fact you're almost guaranteed to see one if you go watch a game. What's rare is when the goalies get involved and it ends with a one-punch knockout.

Our Quad City Mallards were on the road Wednesday night against the Cincinnati Cyclones. After taking a hit, Mallards' goalie Adam Vay went after a Cyclone player. Goaltender Michael Houser met Vay at center ice and a brawl broke out.

And as quick as it started, it was over after Vay delivered a K.O.

Vay ended up with 19 penalty minutes to finish up the third period.
