Men Are Twice as Likely to Get Caught Speeding as Women

In the eternal battle between men and women over who's better at driving, here's a victory for women: A new study found men are twice as likely as women to get caught speeding.

One in 15 men have gotten a speeding ticket in the last three years versus only one in 30 women.

So, women are safer. Although you could also call it a victory for men, since it proves they'll get you places faster. Or does it mean women are just better at getting out of speeding tickets? Discuss.

The study also found about one in five drivers has been busted for speeding in their lifetime.

A separate study also recently looked at drunk driving by gender. Men accounted for 91% of drunk driving convictions in 1998 by 2012, it was down to about 83%.
