Man Punched a Bear in the Face to Save His Dog

73-year-old Carl Moore was at his house near Sacramento, California, when he heard his Chihuahua Lacy outside whimpering. When he went to check it out, he saw a black bear standing in his backyard about to eat Lacy.

Carl immediately threw his hands in the air and started screaming at the bear to scare it away. When that didn't work, he ran straight at it, and punched it in the face!

The bear ran off, and Carl and Lacy are both fine. He says that if the bear ever comes back, he's ready for round two.
