Lottery Winner Buys Helicopter, Crashes It In His Front Yard
Timothy Kneiss won a $100,000 jackpot from a scratch-off lottery ticket in North Carolina late last year. He got lucky again when he survived after crashing his helicopter.
He bought the aircraft with a portion of his winnings and had been practicing flying it for weeks. On Wednesday he crashed it in his front yard and it started on fire. Luckily he escaped from the wreckage of the Mosquito XE with only some scratches.
