This is it ladies and gentlemen, the big one... we are in a lime shortage! They say drug cartels in Mexico are to blame. A cartel called Knights Templar have taken to hijacking lime trucks and extorting farmers. This is bad news for all you Corona and margarita drinkers as supplies here in the U.S. are starting to dwindle. This photo from Listener Bob says it all:

If you happen to find limes in stock at your local grocery store, don't be surprised if you're paying over $1 a lime. Restaurant and store owners are reporting that cases of limes went from $19 a case to $25 to $99 with prices still on the rise.
