If you're going to someone else's house for Thanksgiving dinner, assuming they have any etiquette, they'll let you take some leftovers home. But they're secretly praying you turn them down.

According to a new survey, 79% of people say the best part about hosting Thanksgiving is having a fridge full of leftovers. That means four out of five people are hosting for the sake of a week's worth of turkey sandwiches.

Here are more results from the survey:

  • 28% of people would be interested in trying a turducken for Thanksgiving. That's a chicken inside a duck inside a turkey, in case you don't know.
  • 25% of people say they'd rather eat at a restaurant for Thanksgiving than cook.
  • And turkey could stop being a guaranteed part of Thanksgiving once the next generation is hosting. Only 30% of people under 35 say it's what they look forward to the most, they're much more into side dishes than older people.
