A first grader at Rymfire Elementary School in Palm Coast, Florida is facing suspension after he started a fire inside one of the school's bathrooms.

The kid told authorities that he had lit a paper towel dispenser on fire while attempting to "change the color of his mood ring.” The fire ended up setting off the fire alarm.

The sprinkler system was triggered and as a result, one classroom was flooded. Luckily, nobody was injured and the flames were extinguished.

“I would like to thank the deputies who responded quickly to the elementary school and assisted the school and fire department,” Sheriff Rick Staly said in a press release. “This underscores why it is so important to have a deputy in every school and fortunately next year every elementary school will have one. It also emphasizes the need for parents to be parents and teach their children right from wrong."
