Florida Octogenarian Arrested Drinking Boxed Wine Topless

Police in St. Petersburg, Florida got a call at around 7:40 A.M. last Thursday about something crazy going down in a public park.

Responding Sheriff's deputies found 81-year-old Mary Ellen Stewart sitting on a park bench, fully topless and drinking Sunset Blush Franzia wine straight from the box. When they approached her, she started trying to spray them with her wine, according to the arrest affidavit:

Defendant held the box of wine over her head and began to drink from the spout. When deputies attempted to take the open box of wine, the defendant began to shake the box intentionally towards deputies, in an attempt to splash wine on us.

Mary was arrested for disorderly intoxication.
