Where else can you go miniature golfing in the winter and help youth in our community? The answer is...the BBBS Putt-A-Round! This years Putt-A-Round promises to be the biggest and most creative to date! We expect at least 25 custom built golf holes designed and created by loyal business supporters of BBBS. Participants will have a blast trying to master each hole, as they compete for hole-in-one prizes and enjoy catered food from some of the Quad Cities most popular restuarants. There will also be the $10,000 hole-in-one challenge again this year and we promise many new and exciting games and contests. Special contest and raffle tickets will also be available at the event for $10. Cash or check payment required for these contests.
Proceeds from the event underwrites the safety and quality of one-to-one mentoring relationships between vulnerable childreb and positive adult volunteers. Research confirms that an adult who had a positive mentor growing up was more likely to graduate high school and college, have steady employment, healthy relationships and volunteer in their community.
