Some Philadelphia Flyers fans found themselves in strange and scary situation when an escalator malfunctioned. It sped up and caused hockey fans to tumble across the floor.

No major injuries were reported.

"We immediately closed it down to protect our patrons and notified the operator," Ike Richman, a spokesman with Comcast Spectator, said. "We are working with the operator on investigating this incident. We did not use that particular escalator during tonight's Sixers game."

Repairs were made in time to have the escalator operating normally in time for a concert Sunday night.
