Bi-State Parade to Commemorate Vietnam Veterans’ 50th Anniversary

The Quad Cities is home to the only bi-state St. Patrick's Day parade and this Saturday we'll have another bi-state parade. This time it's for Vietnam Veterans.

The parade kicks off at 10:30am on Saturday at 23rd Street and 4th Avenue in Rock Island and will follow a similar route as the St. Patrick's Day parade, ending at Veterans Park in Davenport.

The purpose of this parade is to honor veterans of the Vietnam War including those killed in action, prisoners of war, or missing in action for their service and sacrifice and to thank their families. The parade will include honor guards from all services, military and school bands, military vehicles and floats carrying our veterans and their families. With a music festival following at the River Center in Davenport.
